Well the semester is half over.  WOW!! Where has the time gone.  I have been so busy with all of my classes and projects for the community that time just passes so quickly.  I have had a new class this year, Social Media.  I have become addicted to finding fun, cool, educational web tools for my students to explore! What fun it has been.  The students have seemed to really enjoy the course.  There are so many VALUABLE tools available on the web that students have no idea about:  Social Bookmarking, Firefox Adons, Blogs, Wikis, Avatars, Google Docs, Video Chat, the list goes on and on.  I have spent many hours searching for tools that I feel students would not only gain knowledge from, but also have fun with!  This course could definitely be a year long course.  I could just spend hours reading and looking over the wonderful blogs that my students have created.  I am VERY proud of their hard work and very grateful of them embracing Social Media and using it in a productive and constructive way.
